Mr. Standy Uppy

Just this week, little Vin has discovered a new use for those two dangly leg thingies down there. He figured out how to pull himself up and now there is no stopping him. He will stand forever in his crib, on the couch, on a chair, on a log or on a dog. Presumably.

Stools are for standing

Here you see that all it takes is an overturned chair or a stool to get his motor running. We like to put a bunch of pillows around as well, as he has not yet mastered the art of a graceful dismount off the stand. He has also taken to growling quite loudly. At the zoo, we ate lunch with the Tigers, so he would feel more comfortable practicing his growls.

The nights are getting better, once he does get to sleep, he sleeps pretty much through the night again, which is very welcome.

A chair will do, too.

Tomorrow morning we pick up my mom and her friend for their two week visit. YEAH! Babysitters! :)

Getting things done

It will continue to be short and sweet on this blog until around early August, when my consultancy is over.

We had a productive but not all that exciting day today.

We woke early and headed to an appointment.

Back from a blog break

It is crazy around here...full time work and full time baby duty sure does take it out of a girl. Just about a month and a half more to go...

Thankfully I will have my mom here for a couple of weeks to take over baby duty!
