Before we headed out, I snapped mr. v in his mr. stripy outfit. That cute bib was a gift from a deputy director general of the IAEA. Spiffy, huh?
We went for just a walk around the ring, and mr. v was grumpy before we left. About 10 minutes into it he fell asleep - stayed out for only 20 minutes - and then woke up screaming and crying the rest of the way. All that would calm him was being held, which was very hard on me. Holding a slippery baby (slippery because of his little snow outfit) and steering a stroller in some pretty strong head winds was not easy or fun. Here is a nice shot of him between whining and crying, I captured the grumpy, 'I am not having fun' face.
As soon as we got home and I laid him out on the bed to remove his snow suit, he began with the giggles and smiles. Jerk.
Then once Andi came home, I decided to head out on my own for the same walk (I am trying to lose some of this pregnancy weight, so I am trying to get some exercise in every day) and as soon as I got back from the walk I got a big smile from the guy and he matched me grunt for grunt for a nice 2 minute conversation. He is a cutey, but man alive sometimes. I swear. Sometimes.
We visited Andi for yoga and lunch yesterday, where Vin was shot doing what he does best. I thought it would be fun for you to see why we have a bit more laundry in the hamper these days:
After that fun time and little pukey, he decided to be very upset for one hour I was with him during Mollie's yoga time. It's quite stressful to deal with a screaming baby in an office. He decided to redeem himself on Thursday, when he let me work the entire hour, while he was sleeping in his stroller in my office.
