On Feb 3, Vin and I made it to Yoga at the UN but instead of heading straight home afterwards, we decided to walk the 30 minutes to go visit our land. Not much has been done to the land since we last checked, but it was nice to see it and to envision what it will one day become.
Here it is. All lonely and covered with snow. Bear in mind, this lot will have 5 houses on it. All this goodness isn't all just for us :)
We think we finally got a good plan and will initiate building as soon as possible.
On Friday, Feb 4th Vin and I visited the American Women's Association's needlepoint class. I had a hankering to make a crochet egg cozy that I saw in an Oprah magazine, but I need some help here and there. I have forgotten everything I have learned about how to crochet. The women there were very nice, but we didn't get around to too much crochet, everyone is quite taken with the Vinster and no one wants to look away to do needlework :)
After the crochet class, Vin and I made it to the UN again for lunch with Andi and with Yolanda (plus Nayeli) and Ying.
Yummmm...
It was great to see everyone again. Nayeli is still a tiny little girl, but is growing and putting on weight nicely. She and Vin had some rather graphic (not really) photos taken. Andi and Yolanda encouraged a nice makeout session and ooh doggie did they cooperate!
After yoga, I sometimes get to meet up with the lovely Hazel and she gets Vin to smiling and laughing like no one else!
OMG I love your photos! Although I didn't realise my tongue was so long:-)
ReplyDeleteMakeout session was awesome. I wonder if Vinny will ever hate us for doing that to him. Hate Yolanda and me that is, because everyone else was pretty much shocked at what was going on. :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, it's good to know that nothing is happening on our land, meaning that we won't be so far behind everyone else with building.
I absolutely LOVE the photo at the beginning of this blog. What a perfect Valentine's Day picture of our little angel!
ReplyDeleteAlso, the blueprints of your new house look awesome. I can't wait to try out your guest room.
