And he's out there...swimming...

Buddies and bubbles...and a hippo?
Yolanda and I have been looking for baby swimming classes around here, but apparently we should have registered as soon as we found out we were pregnant...so we decided to just go ahead and take matters in our own hands and take the babies to the pool on our own.

Vin looooooooooves the water.

It was a beautiful and sunny day, so the indoor pool was very empty and it was wonderful. Warm, clear water (a bit too much chlorine) and Vin and Nayeli just loved it. We started out in the baby pool area with a fun little water fountain for them to get used to. They were completely cool with it, so we quickly advanced to the big person pool, where they were very brave and calm and relaxed.

And a book break in between swimming sessions.
We swam, rested with naps, magazines and baby books. Fed the babies a little solid food snack, went for a second swim and then headed out for a nice little lunch in the center of Baden.

The indoor pool in Baden.

Vin has had a lot of practice swimming in our bathtub, so he took to the water very well. I was a bit nervous about putting his head under, so I didn't do that but he did everything else. Andi was pushing his boundaries and took him to the bubbles and to the waterfall and Vin loved it all.

Lunch after swimming. Asparagus risotto, baked feta cheese salad, shrimp
with chili pasta and fried pork chops for the table.

Cute little Nayeli.

My teething bear.

  2. He's a fun swimmer, I just wish that we would know how to have him swim under water too. That would be so cool. OK, maybe I would also have to buy one of those underwater cameras for that.
