Mondays mean Fussball

A baby, and his dreams.

The weather is bright and warm and Vin and I are getting out and about at least once a day, but still allowing for down time for naps, relaxing and play at home. I got word last week that I will start my work from home job on Monday, which will be a real challenge I imagine. I am to fit in a full time job in between my full time momming. I did consider getting a part time babysitter to help me with Vin so that I have some uninterrupted sections of time during the day, but he has been so good with naps and playing by himself that I am hopeful that it will all work out just fine. However, he IS just on the verge of crawling and once that happens, it is an entirely different ballgame. So I hear.

Baby? Ruth ruth ruth.

So, this week we managed it all. Soccer on Monday, lunch with Andi on Tuesday, mommy/baby yoga and the zoo on Wednesday, and lunch with Andi on Thursday. Andi has soccer on Monday evenings with his work colleagues, and Vin and I like to go and watch him run around on the field, scoring goals left and right.  I think it is good for him to see us in action, just so that he doesn't think that all we do is lay about in our PJs. See Vinny, see? We do stuff too!

He was pretty intently watching for the first half, but then he got tired...

  1. Ah, Monday football. Or Tuesday football. How I miss them now that football is on Friday and most Fridays I am unable (or unwilling) to go. I wonder if Vinny got so tired rooting for me that he fell asleep.
